Toorak Project.

Placed in Toorak.

An elevated Toorak apartment defined by quiet luxury, refined proportions and timeless material selection.

This inner-city Toorak apartment was reimagined as a study in restraint, proportion and quiet luxury. Alesi approached the project with the intention of elevating the existing apartment beyond a typical refurbish-ment-creating a residence that feels architectural, grounded and enduring, while remaining deeply livable.

Throughout the home, a polished neutral palette sets the tone. Soft beiges, warm stone and muted finishe work in harmony, allowing texture, shadow and light to define each space. Rather than relying on contrast or sumamentarin the design leane ined transitions refined detailing-resulting in interiors that feel calm, balanced and resolved.

Our Detail

A refined inner-city Toorak apartment, elevated through restrained design, polished neutrals and considered materiality.

The kitchen forms a central architectural moment within the apartment. Anchored by a striking green stone benchtop and splashback, it introduces depth and character while remaining disciplined and refined. The stone’s natural veining provides visual interest against the understated cabinetry, creating a focal point that feels confident yet timeless. Crisp joinery lines, considered proportions and integrated detailing ensure the space reads as sculptural rather than decorative.

In the living and dining areas, traditional proportions are respected and enhanced. A generous living room anchors the apartment, offering a sense of permanence often absent in inner-city dwellings. Herringbone timber flooring introduces warmth and rhythm underfoot, while classic ceiling detailing softens the contemporary palette-bridging tradition and modernity with ease.

Our Craft

The bathrooms continue the language of restraint and material cohesion. Stone surfaces, fluted cabinetry and curved glass elements are executed with precision, creating spaces that feel both intimate and luxurious. Every junction, edge and surface is carefully resolved, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on craftsmanship and longevity.

Across the apartment, light plays a quiet but critical role. Soft, natural illumination enhances the tonal palette, drawing attention to texture and form rather than colour. The result is a home that feels composed and sophisticated-elevated without excess, refined without rigidity.

This Toorak project reflects Alesi’s approach to boutique inner-city work: thoughtful design execution, disciplined material selection and an unwavering focus on detail-delivering an apartment that feels timeless, considered and quietly confident.
